Bonded and insured techs Photo report after every visit Serving all of Orange County

Equipment doesn't fail on a schedule. A heater that won't ignite the night before guests arrive, or a pump that's suddenly screaming instead of humming — we keep slots open for exactly that, and we work on every major brand sold in Orange County: Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Raypak, and the rest.

What we fix

Eight repairs, one crew.

1. Heater repair

Gas, electric & heat pump

Won't ignite, won't hold temperature, or throwing a code — we work all three heater types and know the common failure points on each.

2. Pump repair

Motors, seals & priming

A pump that's lost prime, gotten loud, or started leaking around the seal plate gets fixed or replaced — sized to what your plumbing actually needs, not a generic swap.

3. Filter repair

Cartridge, DE & sand

Rising pressure, cloudy return water, or a cracked tank body — serviced or rebuilt depending on what's actually gone.

4. Automatic cleaner repair

Pressure & suction-side units

A cleaner that's stalling, spinning in circles, or stopped climbing walls gets diagnosed and put back to work.

5. Salt & chemical feeder repair

Salt cells & chlorinators

A salt cell reading low output or a feeder that's stopped dosing correctly — diagnosed against the actual chlorine demand of your pool.

6. Pool lighting repair

LED & standard bulb

Dead fixtures, flickering LEDs, and the wiring behind them, handled safely around water.

7. Electrical & automation

Panels, valves & controls

Automation panels, actuator valves, and control boards that have stopped responding — traced back to the actual fault.

8. Plumbing repairs

Valves, unions & broken lines

Cracked unions, stuck valves, and broken lines at the pad, fixed once instead of patched twice.

California pump code & Orange County's mixed climate

What actually drives equipment failure across OC.

California's Title 20 energy standards required most single-speed pool pumps sold since 2021 to be replaced with variable-speed models — if your pump is original to an older OC pool, a straight swap isn't always the right call anymore, and we spec replacements to current code rather than matching what's already there. Orange County's equipment also ages unevenly: inland pools in Irvine, Tustin, and Mission Viejo see more thermal cycling from wider daily temperature swings, while coastal-adjacent equipment in Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point corrodes faster from salt-laden air. We diagnose with that context, not a one-size read.

Common questions

Equipment repair FAQ.

Should I repair or replace an aging heater?

If it's throwing codes or short-cycling, it's often a single-part fix. Past a certain age or corrosion level, we'll say so plainly instead of chasing parts on something worth replacing.

My pump got loud out of nowhere — what happened?

Usually a bearing on its way out, a worn shaft seal, or an air leak on the suction side pulling in noise along with air. We isolate which one before quoting anything.

Which filter types do you service?

All three — cartridge, DE, and sand. Rising pressure and cloudy return water are the two symptoms that bring us out most often.
